David Blake and Keith Warner’s witty comic opera charting a pair of ‘song and dance merchants’ across key events and epochs of the 20th century – from turbulent war landscapes, to cabaret parties and Hollywood. Presented as a series of twenty ‘panels’ and four mini ‘operas-within-an-opera’, with narrative elements captured in the design of a fake proscenium and the overarching theme of technical construction details.
